The Temper Trap:
These ozzies are tearing it up fast. Sweet Disposition will be everywhere this summer. Seems like a nice story of a band too I love the whole record. There already on the European radar with sell out shows everywhere. Another big Festy schedule for this band, so we'll see how America likes them soon enuff but with pretty much a sold out tour and millions of youtube, myspace, facebook hits, its almost old news on this band regardless if it hasnt hit the mainstream yet. Its only a matter of time for Sweet Dispo. Im sure its in most markets college radio and soon top 40. Not a terrible thing, not a death sentence like i used to think, but we'll see. The record is really super all the way threw i think.
3-Pack. Sweet Disposition,

Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zero's:
Seems like a commune family of hippies got together and became musicians. If the video of the single 'Home" tells me anything. Its California hippie music and i like it. Lots of shakers, tambo's and other percussion instruments im sure, maybe too many ? I think Ed might be wacked out of his god-damn mind by the looks of this interview posted below. What the fuck is he talking about. He's high. But i tell you what - i dont care - this record is pretty good. I think Home is far ahead of the rest of the tunes but its still pretty strong. They are musicians and pretty good ones it looks like. We'll find out this summer how they fair on the festy circuit. There hitting most of the beauts with stops in Roo, Coachella, Lolla, Sasquatch, Telluride, Newport, High Sierra, ect ect. So the cat will be out of the bag after summer rolls by on these cats. Looking forward to seeing them at the Rooo in 10.
My recommend ya check out the whole record. Highlight 3-pack of the record...Home, 40 Day Dream, Come In Please, om nashi, me i think is a good rep of what this band is/wants to be.
